PORT ELIZABETH - PE HOME AFFAIRS TO REOPEN ITS DOORS AFTER COURT RULING

New asylum seekers and foreign nationals with refugee status in Port Elizabeth will soon be able to apply or renew their documentation in the city.

This after the constitutional court ruled that the Home affairs department must reopen the refugee reception office in Port Elizabeth.

 Home Affairs closed the office four years ago. New asylum seekers have been travelling to Durban, Pretoria or Musina to get registered.
