Port Elizabeth police are searching for three suspects who shot and killed a foreign national in his spaza shop on Thursday morning.
Warrant officer Alwin Labans says the men entered the Spaza Shop in Timothy Valley in the city's northern areas at around 11am and began stealing goods.
Labans says a shot went off and the 27 year-old Ethiopian shopkeeper was struck in the head. He died on the scene.
Labans says the robbers fled with cash and cigarettes.
