Kwanobuhle police in the Eastern Cape are investigating a case of arson after two home made petrol bombs were thrown at a councillor candidate's home early on Tuesday morning.
Police spokesperson, Lieutenant Gerda Swart said that one petrol bomb entered through a bedroom window and set curtains alight while the second one hit a wall outside the home in Zolile Nogcazi Road.
Police said that no one was injured during the fire.
No arrests have been made.
