Port Elizabeth International operations are being affected due to low visibility according to Acsa - with passengers advised to arrive early to avoid further delays.
On Saturday morning just after 10:00 the PE Herald and passengers reported that check-ins were being done by hand. Acsa has issued a short statement at 15:00 saying "it is an issue of low visibility and we are unable to determine how long it will last".
According to one passenger Louw Lemmer, who tweeted about the delay, ahead of his flight from PE to Pretoria, he estimated the delay was about half an hour.
