PORT ELIZABETH - COPS STOP CAR AND FIND 19 BAGS OF COCAINE IN CAPE ROAD


On 6 October 2016 at about 22:15, members from Mount Road station assisted by the K9 unit were patrolling Cape Road when they spotted a silver Toyota Yaris.

The vehicle was stopped and searched.  Nineteen bags of cocaine and 9 pieces of rock cocaine was found inside the vehicle. The estimated value of the drugs is R8000.

A 40 year old suspect was detained on a charge of dealing in drugs and is expected to appear in court soon.
