PORT ELIZABETH - SANRAL TO CONTINUE ROADWORKS ON THE N2 FROM 7 - 11 OCTOBER

The South African National Roads Agency Soc Ltd (SANRAL) would like to advise motorists of planned roadworks taking place during the night on the N2 in Port Elizabeth.

There will be no lane restrictions during the day on the N2 this week.

The Night shift work will continue this week. The ramps as indicated below will be closed between 19h00 – 05h00. The schedule is as follows:

As off Thursday, 6th of October: Cape Road West Bound On/Off ramp will be closed between 19:00 and 05:00 due to resurfacing. Motorists can use other ramps as a detour.

There will be lane restrictions on the Kragga Kamma interchange in the westerly direction, from Friday 7 October until Tuesday 11 October between 19:00 and 05:00.

There will be message boards up to notify motorists of the roadworks.

“Motorists are asked to plan their trips accordingly and to use caution when making use of the road, or make use of alternative routes,” said Mbulelo Peterson, SANRAL Southern Region’s Regional Manager.

SANRAL apologises for any inconvenience caused.
