SOUTH AFRICA - ALMOST 850 PEOPLE KILLED IN ROAD FATALITIES SINCE THE BEGINNING OF DECEMBER


Nearly 850 people have been killed on the country's roads since the start of the beginning of this month.

This marks a 17% increase of road fatalities this year compared to last year.

The provinces with the highest number of crashes are KwaZulu-Natal, Limpopo and Mpumalanga. Drunken and reckless driving are the main causes.
