Nearly 850 people have been killed on the country's roads since the start of the beginning of this month.
This marks a 17% increase of road fatalities this year compared to last year.
The provinces with the highest number of crashes are KwaZulu-Natal, Limpopo and Mpumalanga. Drunken and reckless driving are the main causes.
