On 15 March 2017 at 03:00 a house robbery took place in Ntimba Street, NU11, Motherwell. Two suspects forced open a window and climbed into an outside room of the main house.
They gun pointed the occupant, 33-year-old Mr Luvuyo Dywili and told him that they were members of the SAPS. They then demanded money and also took household items and a DVD player and fled the scene.
At 11:00 the first suspect, a 35-year-old male was arrested.
Further investigation led to the arrest of the second suspect, a 24-year-old male, during the early hours of this morning.
Both suspects will appear in Motherwell Magistrates’ Court tomorrow on a charge of house robbery. They were not police members.
