EASTERN CAPE - FATAL N2 TRUCK CRASH KILLS 40 YEAR OLD DRIVER



Butterworth Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.

It is alleged that a truck that was travelling from Butterworth towards East London on the N2, carrying bags of sugar, veered off the road near Ndabakazi Village, Butterworth and landed into a ditch. No other vehicles were involved.

The forty-year-old truck driver died at the scene. The cause of the accident is not known.

The identity of the deceased will be made known once his family has been officially informed of his death.
