EASTERN CAPE - POLICE RECOVER FARMER'S 39 STOLEN SHEEP

The speedy action by members of Dutywa SAPS after receiving information led to the recovery of 39 sheep soon after the lawful owner discovered the livestock is missing.

On Friday, 08 February 2019, members received information that there were sheep in the forest at Old Idutywa Village, Dutywa. It did appear that they were hidden and possibly ready to be transported when the members got to them before the suspects.

The owner was at the community service centre reporting the theft of his livestock when he was informed that all his sheep had just been recovered.

The ecstatic complainant thanked the SAPS for their swift action. He was extremely grateful that all his stock was recovered and declined to have it investigated further.
