PLETTENBERG BAY - DEHYDRATED TRINIDAD TOURIST RESCUED DURING ROBBERG HIKE


At 13h24, Thursday, 7th March, NSRI Plettenberg Bay medical crew responded to The Caves, Robberg Nature Reserve, to join SA National Parks rangers (SANParks) who responded to assist a 31 year old male tourist, from the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, suffering dehydration during a hike.

On arrival on the scene the man was rehydrated and after some rest he was accompanied in the care of the rescue team to the Robberg car park where they were met by a Medlife ambulance and he was transported to hospital by ambulance for further care in a stable condition.
