EASTERN CAPE - BODY OF DEAD TEEN FOUND STABBED & LYING ON THE SIDEWALK

Detectives from the South African Police Service in Kirkwood have arrested a 27-year-old man on a charge of murder, after he allegedly stabbed a 19-year-old man yesterday.

According to police information a report was received yesterday at about 03:00 of the body of a 19-year-old male that was lying on the side walk in Chris Hani Street, Moses Mabida with a fatal stab wound to the right side of his chest.

The victim was declared dead on the scene. Whiles members were on the scene information was received of a possible suspect residing in Platini Area Moses Mabida, Kirkwood. Information was follow up by the detectives and a suspect was arrested at a residence in Platini Area Moses Mabida Kirkwood. The suspect will be appearing in the Kirkwood Magistrates Court on Monday 3 June 2019, on a charge of murder.
