Police in Port Elizabeth have arrested two suspects following an attempted business robbery in Central.
Spokesperson Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg says it is alleged that two men entered business premises in Westbourne road to inquire about airtime.
She says when two more men entered the shop the complainant became suspicious and pressed the panic button.
Soon after, a firearm was pointed at the complainant and he was instructed to lay and the floor where he was tied up.
Two of the men then started to take cell phones off the shelves and placed it in a bag.
Janse van Rensburg says it is then when a local security company arrived on the scene, surprising the robbers.
Two were arrested and two managed to flee from the scene.
Police confiscated all the stolen goods and found a toy gun on the scene.
The two arrested suspects will appear in court soon.
