Police arrested two suspects between 37 and 45 years old for armed robbery took place at Dorper Windfarm on Friday, 02 August 2019 at about 17: 00It is alleged that three armed men approached the security guard requesting to enter the farm. After security guard refused they robbed him two cellphones one belong to the farm and after ran away.
Police were summoned and a case of armed robbery was opened. Immediately a 72 hour plan was activated and shortly two suspects were arrested one is still at large. One cellphone was recovered. Both suspects will appear before Molteno Magistrate Court on Monday 05 August 2019
Cluster Commander Queenstown, Major General Funeka Siganga commended the members for their quick response and making sure that criminal are behind bars.
