
The members followed the tracks from the scene into the bush and with the assistance of patrol dog ‘Bonzo’, a suspect aged 32 was arrested. He was found in possession of a brush cutter which was linked to another housebreaking. The value of the brush cutter R10 000-00.
Investigations reveal that the suspect is currently on bail for housebreaking and murder. He suspect now faces a charge of possession of suspected stolen property and will appear in the Port Alfred magistrate's court later this week.
