EASTERN CAPE - MAN RAPES 67 YEAR OLD WOMAN THEN STABS HER AND HER SON

Police are on the hunt for a suspect who raped and attacked an old woman and her son at Tsembeyi Administrative Area between 20H00 and early hours of the 24 September 2019.

 It is alleged that old Gogo was sleeping in her house and her son was sleeping in another room while she heard someone breaking the window entering the house. He then forcefully raped the Gogo and then the suspect stabbed the victim.

During that process victim’s son entered in order to rescue his mother but the suspect also stabbed the son and after ran away. Police we summoned and on arrival both victim were taken to hospital as they were both injured.

A case of rape and attempted murder were opened and no arrest yet. Police are following the leads and appeal to anyone who can assist in arresting the perpetrator to please contact Detective Sgt Ndileka Bokolo at 0798969645 or 0860010111.
