Police have opened an inquest docket following the drowning of two learners from a primary school in Mthatha while they were swimming at Eastern beach, East London today at about 12:15.According to information, it is reported that the learners were swimming in the sea when they experienced difficulty.
Two learners, a boy and a girl aged 13 and 14 were declared dead on the scene by paramedics. Their identities will be revealed once the next of kin have been informed.
