PORT ELIZABETH - MAN'S BULLET-RIDDLED BODY FOUND NEAR GRAVEL ROAD BETWEEN GREENBUSHES & STANDFORD ROAD

Bethelsdorp detectives are seeking the community’s assistance in tracing the next of kin of a man found murdered in Booysens Park.



It is alleged that on Monday, 27 July 2020 at about 10:25, a patrolling police vehicle was stopped by a man who informed them that the body of an adult male is lying on the side of the gravel road between Greenbushes and Standford Road.  

The deceased, a black male between the ages 30-40-year-old sustained several wounds to the head and face and gunshot wounds to the chest and back. 

Police suspect that the body may have been dumped at the place where it was found.

A case of murder is under investigation.

Anyone who can assist police in their investigation by either identifying or tracing the next of kin of the deceased or may have information relating to the murder is asked to contact D/Sgt  Tandiswa Nobebe on 067 403 1910  or SAPS  Bethelsdorp on 041 404 3005 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111 or their nearest police station.
