Port Elizabeth police used stun grenades, tear gas and rubber bullets to disperse a crowd that occupied the police station in Walmer.
Protests in the area entered a second day -as residents vented their anger over the slow pace of housing
delivery.
One of the protesters says, "It was wrong for the police to treat us like that in the police station to put in tear gas. They used different force on us when we are in the township and when we are in white areas."
