PORT ELIZABETH - PARI PARK HOME OWNER TIED UP WHILE BEING BURGLED BY 6 SUSPECTS

Police are on a manhunt for six suspects following a house robbery in Pari Park, Port Elizabeth, on Tuesday morning.

Police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, says the suspects armed with sharp objects broke into the Chopin Road house at around two am.

They tied a man and his son up and fled the scene in a vehicle with stolen valuables, but were spotted in the nearby Glendore road shortly afterwards.

They abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot after being spotted, and an off-duty police officer also gave chase, to no avail.

However, the vehicle and the stolen goods have been recovered.
