Port Elizabeth police are investigating a murder case and two cases of attempted murder following three separate incidents in the Northern Areas.Warrant officer Alwin Labans says two incidents took place in Bloemendal on Tuesday night.
In a gang-related shooting, a 33 -year-old man was fatally wounded while walking in Drophy street at around 7pm.
Labans says a white Tazz approached the man and the occupants inside started shooting through a window hitting the victim in the arm, chest and left side of the body.
In another shooting, a 33 year-old woman and her brother in-law were at their house when a person known to them walked into the yard and started shooting.
The two ran into the house and no-one was injured.
In another gang-related shooting, three men were attacked while sitting outside a shop in Claire street, Korsten.
Several shots were fired, but no one was injured.
