EASTERN CAPE - MTHATHA & PORT ST JOHN JOINT POLICE OPERATIONS SEIZES ILLEGAL GUNS, DRUGS & STOLEN VEHICLE
Mthatha and Port St John's Clusters Oparation Vulindlela: Police arrested six suspects for different crimes committed in different places.
A 63-year old man was arrested for possession of illegal firearm and ammunition, 9mm norinco pistol with 31 rounds of ammunition at Gwabeni, while three men aged between 29 and 37 were arrested at Edolophini in Mthontsasa for possession of dagga.
Two men aged 30 and 33 were arrested at Libode for theft of motor vehicle after they were found driving a Hyundai H100 reported to have been stolen at Cambridge in East London .
The operation started at 16h00 on Friday 26 August and ended at 22h00.
