Port Elizabeth SAPS members on parade before Operation Basadi duties commence.
During #WomensMonth, #SAPS #WomenInPolicing are carrying out initiatives and operations, as we have over the past years. Operation Basadi is one such initiative and involves conducting roadblocks, stop-and-search and other operations. Female police officials will also perform duties at community service centres countrywide. We will also be interacting with communities on procedures to follow when reporting cases of gender-based violence.
