PORT ELIZABETH - COMMUNITY REELING AFTER 3 SEPARATE GUN RELATED MURDERS IN NEW BRIGHTON

Police reported at least three killings in a space of a few hours in which the victims were all shot to death in separate incidents.

Police spokesperson, Constable Mcedi Mbombo, said the body of a 25-year-old man with gunshot wound to the abdomen was found in Aggrey Road at around 10am Tuesday.

He says at around lunchtime the body of a 36-year-old man was found in Tsotsobe Street with several bullet wounds to the head and back.

In the third incident, Constable Mbombo, said unknown gunmen opened fire on a car in Dora Street in New Brighton, killing the driver and seriously wounding the man's girlfriend.

He said no arrests were made in all three cases.
