Port Elizabeth police are investigating the murder of a man who was shot dead in Cleary Estate in the city's northern areas.
Police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, said Aiden Lombard of Arcardia had got to a shop in University Way in Cleary Estate to buy food.
She said he went to stand on the corner to eat his food when three shots rang out.
Naidu says the shop owner went outside and found Lombard lying on the corner with a gunshot wound to the lower back.
She says he was allegedly affiliated to the G-Stars gang.
No arrests have been made.
