EASTERN CAPE - UITENHAGE STOCK THEFT UNIT APPEALS FOR HELP AFTER 30 GOATS FOUND SLAUGHTERED IN KIRKWOOD


The Uitenhage Stock Theft Unit are appealing to the community to assist with information pertaining to the slaughtering of goats and the buying or selling of these slaughtered animals.

Uitenhage Stock Theft Unit are investigating a case that was reported to the police this morning, Tuesday, 28 February 2017 at about 07:00, after an incident where 30 goats were found slaughtered on a farm next to the Bluecliff Road, in the Kirkwood area. All the carcasses were removed and the incident occurred during last night, Monday, 27 February 2017.

Anyone who might be able to assist with information pertaining to the slaughtering or selling of these slaughtered animals are requested to contact the investigating officer, Detective Captain Gary du Randt on 082 958 9099, Uitenhage Stock Theft Unit on 041 996 3343, or contact the nearest police station and or SAPS Crime Stop 08600 10111.
