The body of an unidentified man in his 60's was found lying on the side of the road in Bridgemead, Port Elizabeth, on Wednesday afternoon.
It’s suspected that the man died from heat stroke but Warrant Officer Alwin Labans says the exact cause of death has not yet been established.
An inquest docket has been opened.
Labans says that according to eyewitnesses, the man was walking on the side of the road when he collapsed.
