Police in Port Elizabeth continue to make inroads in recovering illegal firearms and arresting suspects.Bethelsdorp Task Team members were patrolling in Sweden Street in Timothy Valley when they spotted two suspected gang members walking in the street.
Both males were searched and a black revolver and ammunition was found in the pants’ pocket of the 19-year-old teenager.
He was arrested and detained on a charge of prohibited possession of a firearm and illegal possession of ammunition.
