PORT ELIZABETH - UNKNOWN GUNMAN OPENS FIRE IN KOBUS ROAD SHOOTING VICTIM SEVERAL TIMES KILLING HIM


Gelvandale police is on the hunt for a gang affiliate allegedly involved in a fatal shooting of a 27-year-old male in Kobus Street on Thursday evening, 14 November 2019.

It is alleged that at about 19:15, Lorenzo Nicholas and a friend were in Kobus Street when the suspect approached from another street and started shooting at Nicholas. Nicholas sustained multiple gunshot wounds and succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The suspect ran away and no arrest has been made as yet and a case of murder is under investigation.

The case are being investigated by the Provincial Organised Crime Investigation (Gang Investigation) and anyone who can assist in the investigation is asked to contact Detective Warrant Officer Neville Gouws  on 082 387 5904 or the nearest police station or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.

The community is encouraged to download the MySAPS App and send tip-offs to the police in a bid to clamp down on any criminal elements within the society.
